Adult Use Cannabis In Michigan

On November 6, 2018, Michigan voters approved Proposal 18-1, which legalized adult use cannabis and created the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA). Each community is now required to decide if it is going to allow or prohibit state-licensed recreational marijuana establishments. Who Oversees the Adult Use Program in Michigan?

The Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) regulates adult use cannabis establishments and licensees in Michigan. The agency enforces the regulations in accordance with the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA) and its associated administrative rules. View the law and rules HERE.
