In 2011, Legislation SB17 was signed into effect by the Governor. This gave qualified patients access to medical marijuana through regulated, licensed facilities. The mission of the Office of Medical Marijuana (OMM) is to protect Delaware patients through proactive monitoring and the enforcement of the Delaware Medical Marijuana Act as well as accompanying regulations. Each medical facility in Delaware must register with the department, file for licensing, and implement a seed to sale tracking system for state reporting.
